FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I have to say that overall I thought that episode 2 was better then episode one. There were a few reasons for this. Number 1 was that the flashing purple eye ,although annoying, actually fit with this episode. Number 2 was that they actually recovered evidence that I found very intriguing. Number 3 is very obvious. They actually had an encounter, whether real fake or otherwise at least they had an encounter.
THE LOCATION
The Research team set out to a remote cabin nestled in the woods on an island in Canada. This to me seemed like a prime location. There had been plenty of sightings that seemed to point to a creature 7-8 feet tall that roamed the area causing trouble for fisherman who travel through the area. The Investigators said that though the land seemed sparse in the food category it could probably support a very small populations of these creatures.
THE EVIDENCE
The researchers found a few types of evidence. They found hair tissue and blood. They also found a “foot print”. The evidence for me, was the most interesting part of this episode. When they brought the samples back to the lab, they found that the DNA was almost identical to humans with 1 very small difference that was linked to ape DNA. This is crazy. I am trying to stay calm and take it only for what its worth but it seems like a huge step in the right direction. They obtained the DNA from the blood sample. They said it would take up to a year for them to analyze the hair and tissue sample to see if they were a match to the blood. I hate that we have to wait for the final word, but it is better then nothing. What do you guys think will come of the blood hair and tissue samples?
THE ENCOUNTER
I am really going to keeps this part short because I think that you really have to take it for what it is worth. Something threw a rock at them. To me there are 2 reasons why this could not be seen as extra ordinary. First of all, anyone could have seen them going to this remote location and decided to pull a little prank. Secondly, I thought the rock was a little small. Yes a Sasquatch could throw a small stone, but don’t you think it would have a been a little more amazing if a basketball size boulder got thrown into camp? Something like that would have really been worth worrying about. Like someone commented on an earlier post, why did they not analyze the rock for some kind of finger print? Is there something amazing I am missing here?
THE FINAL WORD
This Episode overall gets my seal of approval( I am acting like that means something when it means nothing). For me the only thing that seemed kinda hoaky was the rock throwing. The purple eye was a little less painful to watch and I thought the Sasquatch animation was pretty cool.
What did you guys and gals think of this episode?
